Bosch Router Bits-A Woodworkers Review
These bits are available in either solid carbide, carbide tipped and steel variations depending on the user's preference and the project at hand.

For those who are just beginning to get into woodworking, it might be worth taking a look at the Bosch Multi-Construction Bit. This bit is geared towards working with wood, masonry, ceramic, plastic and metal. One could say it is a Jack of all trades without loosing the high quality that Bosch is known for.
If you are going to be doing a lot of work with one material in particular, then it is advisable to get a bit specific to that media. Bosch Multi-Construction Bits can be used with many rotary techniques and have a prolonged bit life, unlike other multi-construction bits that tend to wear and degrade with use.
Bosch router bits can be bought individually or in sets, depending on your rotary needs. Individual start around $15 and go up, while sets run about $100-200 depending on where you shop and how many bits in a set you purchase.
Bosch router bits are available in home improvement stores like Lowe's and Home Depot, as well as online sites. Often times there are better prices online, but stores allow you to purchase and use the bit right away.

Attach Router Bit to Drill Press?
I have a bench top dirll press and want to round over some wood to 1/4 inch rounded. Can I put in a router bit and do this on the drill press? Is there any special router bit required, any advice? Thx
It IS possible, IF you take certain steps, and we are assuming the drill press spins evenly, with not even the tiniest wobble. Don't forget you're going to have to lock the 'vertical' position in place - VERY securely.
A 'benchtop' drill press (even at it's fastest speed) will most likely be slower than using a router - keep that in mind, when you go to feed the piece through.
You will want AT LEAST a 3 cutter bit - preferable a 4 cutter bit, like one of these -

The extra cutters on the bit, will help prevent 'over feeding' the stock (pushing it through too fast, which would result in sloppy work). You may find it necessary to run the stock through more than once. With the first pass making only a slight cut into the stock. (You didn't give specifics on the stock material)
Make sure the cutter blades are spinning the correct direction, and feed the stock INTO the bit.
I would put a rear fence (clamped), and a feather boards (also clamped) to help hold the stock on the work surface of the drill (if you're running larger pieces, you may get away with just the vertical featherboard, and run against the bearing). IF you don't have a 'table' for the drill press, that's what you'll have to build first. I would ALSO put a guard in place, to keep your fingers out of the bit. Make sure the stock is supported along its entire length, on BOTH sides of the cutter, otherwise, you'll get some 'dips' carved into your stock as it bows up into the bit, when the weight of it causes it to lift at the cutter, as it goes over the edge of the work surface.
If this is something you're going to do a lot of, I'd seriously recommend a shaper. If you're only going to do it sporadically, think about getting a router, and build a table to mount it in. If this is the ONLY time you expect to ever do this, then with some patience, and preparation, you can use the drill press. If you only have a few pieces of stock to run - find someone with the equipment, and ask them to run it for you.
A small cabinet shop, or hobby woodworker, for example....and if they have a brush sander handy, they can save you some time there too.
