Grayslake Chevy Equinox manufacturers announce Chevy Volt's debut as a virtual, playable ride
Are we there yet? Not our destination, but the next stop in the road to zero emissions. The answer? Almost. Chevy is really stepping up its game with the upcoming release of the Volt, the first electric car to hit the market and a huge step forward in the progress of fuel revisions. As a fervent fan of the eco system, I'm right there with the experts in hoping that this next step is the right one, and that we are well on our way to zero emissions. And now, just prior to the release of the Volt, GM is killing with the marketing tactics. That isn't all that is unique about this marketing strategy. Hell, even that within itself isn't very unique. I will tell you what is unique though. This new game will be available for the groundbreaking Kinect control system, a new device-less controller system for the Xbox from Microsoft. This is great news for Grayslake used Chevy Equinox dealers, who expect the video game to boost sales severely.
The game gives players the options to customize their new simulated electric vehicles. There will obviously be a huge social element to the game too, as Xbox leverages online connectivity to make game play even more engaging. Grayslake Chevy Equinox dealers are thinking about buying the system and the game for their own stores on slow days! I think it's a great idea, even on the not so slow days. It would be a great way to engage the customer even before they jump in the actual ride. Regardless, we expect that the marketing strategy will be an incredibly effective one, even though the Volt seems to be generating plenty of electricity on its own. Grayslake used Chevy Equinox are looking forward to the launch of the innovative vehicle.
So what have we learned today? Video games are crazy, marketing is fun and the Chevy Volt is in a position to conquer the entire industry. Chevy was really in dire straights and needed to find a way to shake things up, and I think the Volt was exactly the kind of jumpstart that the brand would need. There are still lingering doubts about the costs and adoption factors associated with electric vehicles, but I'm expecting that this is going to catch on in the long run. Regardless, it's great to see Chevy picking itself up by its haunches and dusting itself off. I am really, really glad to see it.

can u jumpstart a positive earth car with 2 6 volt batteries from a 12volt negative earth car?
I have a 1965 MGB with 2 6 volt batteries which i would like to jump off a portable jump start device when i tried today the batteries started smoking
If you look at the batteries, you will find that the positive terminal of one of them is connected to earth. The negative from this battery will be connected to the positive on the other battery.
Connect the red lead to the earthed (positive) terminal on the first battery, and the black lead to the negative of the second battery - this is the terminal which supplies power to the car.
