Diamond Core Bits In the Construction Industry
When most people think or hear of diamonds, the picture that almost without exception comes to their head is “clear” diamonds of the type that people wear on jewelry. What they don't know or realize is that the majority of diamonds that are mined from the earth are industrial grade. Diamonds that aren't clear but are still useful due to their extreme hardness.
Industrial Diamonds are Black Non-Jewelry Grade Diamonds
Another newer source for industrial grade diamonds is synthetic or man made diamonds. These are essentially non-jewelry grade diamonds that are made by technology that recreates the extremely high pressure and temperatures that natural diamonds are created under. Heres one more fact. Did you know that all diamonds started out as a chunk of charcoal? Diamond are in fact composed of 100% pure carbon. The same molecule that charcoal is composed of.
Diamonds are the Hardest Substance Known Man...and Women
The one aspect of diamonds that they are used for for in tools, including diamond core bits is that they are hard. In fact diamonds are the hardest material known to man (and women), so they can cut or scratch even the hardest metal allows or virtually anything else for that matter. So what then do they use to grind the facets into polished diamond jewelry? You guessed it! Other smaller diamonds.
Diamond Tools Aren't For Cutting Metal
Diamond core bits are made and function the same way as most other types of industrial diamond cutters and grinders. That is that the actual diamonds themselves are embedded in metal on the outside surface of the tool. This is why diamond cutting or drilling tools should never be used to cut metal. Its not that the diamonds aren't hard enough. Its just that the metal will rip them off the surface of the tool.
Why Diamond Core Bits When There are Cheaper Alternatives?
So if there are so many new types of high-tech, hardened steel alloy drills and cutters that are cheaper than diamond tools, why would someone choose something like diamond core bits over these less expensive alternatives? After all, there is always the bottom line that has to be taken onto consideration on any construction site.
Just a Better Tool To Use For a Number Of Reasons
To start with, diamond core bits tend to do faster more precision work. Also, no matter how hard the substrate is that has to be drilled through, they can handle it. No problem. Also diamond drilling tools are far more smooth functioning compared to “jarring” roto-hammer type drills that use steel bits. This means less operator fatigue, less dust and noise and less risk to the operator of repetitive movement injuries.
Diamond Cutting and Drilling Tools Never Go Dull
Another benefit of diamond core bits and any other diamond cutting or drilling tool for that matter is that they never go dull. This doesn't mean that they last forever. It just means that as long as there are diamonds still embedded in the surface, the tool will cut or drill just as well on the last day of its working life as it did on its first day when it came fresh out of the box.

Pretty nail question?
I've always been the type of girl who didn't give a crap about her nails and bit them 24/7. But now I want a change because my nails ARE pretty ugly and I want to spend my free time on something that has to do with my body, and is fun
(I think that nail-painting is fun, so.. yeah haha.) What're the basic necessary tools to keep your nails looking pretty like this?:

(AKA: Nice, slightly long but not too long, short-ish curvy nails.) I don't any annoying sparkles on there because I'm scared that they'll break off and leave a weird mark on your nail. Also how do you keep your nail polish from chipping off too?
I don't know the answers to all of that. But the very best top coat is seche vite. It dries really fast so you are less likely to make a mess. It is on the thick side so it protects your paint job longer. Worth the couple extra bucks. Also the green sticky basecoat made by anyone is cheap and starts you out right. If you have a sally they are the cheapest there.
