Most Versitial Dremel Tool?
My Father has offered to buy me a Dremel as I take on a lot of projects in my spare time to be entertained ( I love building/modding/repairing things). My uses for it will be ( to name a few): Cutting drywall, Grinding metal, etching glass, woodworking.
I have looked at the Dremel site and have found out that there are many options. I was looking at the 10.8V lithium Ion tool. Please suggest others.
Also I want to add that I would prefer cordless
If you use it for any period of time, you will find that the battery will wear down and impede continuing. I do not advise cutting drywall with it. The dust will cause problems with the motor, either electric or battery powers. The attachments/cutting devices are made for lightweight work and you can easily burn up the unit by over working it. I would not work on glass with it. At least they have a good warranty program. I fried one and they replaced it free.
