What kind of blade fits with what shaft?

I have an SE16 intermediate shaft. Am I supposed to put a senior blade or a junior blade in? and what does "tapered" mean?

Tapered means the stick comes together at the end. Think of tapered leg jeans--they are wider at the thigh but gradually get smaller towards the end where the ankles are. Tapered shafts require tapered blades. You can tell just by looking at them because the hosel (straight part that goes into the stick) is longer on a regular blade than on a tapered one.

Your SE16 probably takes a SR blade, but you may want to ask the store you bought it from just to double check. The blade should fit in snug.
